If you’re in L.A this Sunday I will be apart of a special exhibition during MOPLA Photo festival at Konepkin Gallery entitled “Women’s Work” I’m previewing a few pieces from the new self portrait series I’m working on called “Black Girls.”  A lot of great photographers will be showing including Lauren Greenfield, Alex Praeger, and Jodi Bieber. The show is apart of a collaboration with Ladies Lotto and Slideluck Potshow two very amazing groups.

Slideluck Potshow was founded in the backyard of advertising and editorial photographer Casey Kelbaugh, in 2000. Today, SLPS is a New York-based arts non-profit (501c3) that hosts slideshow potlucks in about 50 cities globally-from São Paulo, to Stockholm to San Francisco.

In April 2009, the inaugural Month of Photography Los Angeles (MOPLA) showcased the enormous photography community, inclusive of commercial, fine art and photojournalism. As the second largest photography community in the United States, Los Angeles provides a distinctive backdrop to the celebration of the photographic image.
