I stopped by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a guest on the radio show Nobody Dances Here. We talked artistic hustling, the south, breast implants, and why I arrived to the studio wearing pink Crocs.

I’m about 20 min in the program

The show can also be found on Itunes where you can subscribe to Podcast “Nobody Dances Here”

“Nobody Dances Here is the multimedia blog powered by creator Quentin Roper and his team of super twenty-somethings. Quintin’s blog and podcasts focus on current and popular issues involving art, fashion, music, politics, and fitness from a Chicago perspective.”

I briefly attended the School of the Art Institute in high school, where I took my first B+W photography class. This was the first photo I ever printed!  I met these girls below in a park in Pilsen and they remind me of Arbus piece Identical Twins, Roselle, New Jersey, 1967.

“The thing that’s important to know is that you never know. You’re always sort of feeling your way.” -Diane Arbus

Arbus has definitely been an influence of mine.
